What you enter into the calculators never leaves your device. All calculations run in your browser.
Our server records standard access data, which is deleted automatically after 14 days.
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies without your consent.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website runs on a server of Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus) in a data center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. If you visit from the United States, your request is therefore processed in the European Union.

For every request the web server records:

the IP address of the requesting device,
date and time,
the requested address (including the parameters of a shared calculator link),
the address of the previous page (referrer),
browser and operating system (user agent),
HTTP status code and amount of data transferred.

Purpose: secure and stable operation, detecting attacks and errors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in these purposes (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: the log files are rotated daily and deleted automatically after 14 days.

4. Calculators and shared links

What you enter into a calculator is processed only in your browser. Once you change a value, we write your inputs into the page address so that you can pass on the result with “Copy share link”. When you or a recipient open such a link, the inputs appear in our server log files (see section 3).

5. Cookies and local storage

What is stored on your device is described in our cookie policy.

6. Contacting us by email

If you write to us, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer your request. We delete the message when it has been dealt with, unless we are legally required to keep it.

7. Links to official sources

Below the calculators we link to laws and publications of public authorities. Your browser only connects to another website when you click a link; that website’s privacy policy then applies.

8. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection under the GDPR / UK GDPR, and you may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Residents of US states with consumer privacy laws (for example California) may have similar rights to know, correct and delete personal information. We do not sell personal information.

9. Changes

We update this policy when our website or the law changes. The date of the current version is shown below.

If you consent in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Ireland). Only then does your browser load Google’s script; before that, no connection to Google is made.

Data processed: pseudonymous identifiers stored in cookies, pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (derived from the IP address), device, browser and screen resolution. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.

Purpose: to analyze which calculators are used and where visitors run into problems, so that we can improve the website.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Transfers outside the EU: data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK extension); the transfer is based on the corresponding adequacy decisions.

Retention: Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for at most 14 months. The cookies _ga and _ga_… expire after 2 years.
